Cookies

Kweve uses a small set of cookies, and every one of them exists to sign you in or keep the site secure. We set no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, and nothing that tracks you across other sites. That is why you do not see a cookie banner here: the law only requires consent for cookies a site could run without, and we use none of those.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser so it can remember something between pages or visits: that you are signed in, or that your browser already passed a security check. Some sites also use cookies to track behaviour for advertising. Kweve does not.
The cookies we use
Everything below is strictly necessary for the service to work, which is the category UK and EU law exempts from consent. Two providers set them on our behalf: Clerk, which runs our sign-in, and Cloudflare, which sits in front of the site and filters malicious traffic. Both act only on our instructions, and none of these cookies is used for advertising or cross-site tracking.

Browser storage
Alongside cookies, the app keeps a few preferences in your browser’s local storage: your theme choice, whether the sidebar is collapsed, and a draft of your onboarding answers so a page reload does not lose them. This data never leaves your browser and identifies nothing about you.
Your choices
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Because every cookie we set is functional, blocking them has a practical cost: sign-in will not work without them.
If this ever changes
If we ever add cookies beyond the strictly necessary set, for example product analytics, we will update this page first and give you the choices the law requires before anything new runs:
- in the UK, clear information and a simple way to opt out of statistical analytics;
- in the EU, your consent before any non-essential cookie is set.
